Answers before you ask
Is my data really encrypted?
Yes. Every file is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using its own random key before it is written to disk. In zero-knowledge mode (Pro) the file is encrypted in your browser first.
Can I share a file without an account?
Yes. Share links work for anyone with the link, and you can add a password, an expiry date and a download limit.
Where is my data stored?
On your own web host, in a protected folder outside public access. You choose the host and the country.
